Tether Launches QVAC Genesis I for STEM-Focused AI Training
Tether Data's AI research division, QuantumVerse Automatic Computer (QVAC), has unveiled QVAC Genesis I—a synthetic dataset comprising 41 billion text tokens designed to train AI models in STEM disciplines. The dataset targets advanced reasoning capabilities in mathematics, physics, biology, and medicine, addressing what CEO Paolo Ardoino calls the gap between "sounding smart" and genuine cognitive reasoning.
Concurrently, Tether introduced QVAC Workbench, a decentralized app enabling local on-device AI processing. The platform emphasizes privacy through peer-to-peer "Delegated Inference," allowing mobile and desktop applications to interact without centralized data exposure. Both initiatives stem from Tether's May-announced framework for autonomous, blockchain-based AI systems.
